FAQ's

KELTEC is launching a new operating platform, including a transition to NetSuite, followed shortly after by a new KELTEC website and customer portal. These upgrades are designed to improve speed, reliability, product search, and the overall customer experience. During the transition, there will be a brief service disruption affecting order processing, shipping, and certain website functions.

Yes. There will be a brief transition period affecting shipping, order confirmations, and some website functions. Orders will still be accepted by website, email, and phone on select days, but processing and shipment timing will be adjusted during the transition window. Expected ship dates will be confirmed in your order confirmation.

Tuesday, April 14: Orders by email, phone, and website will be accepted. In-stock products will ship on Wednesday, April 15. Wednesday, April 15: Last day of shipping before the transition. Orders will be accepted, and open orders will begin shipping the week of April 20. Thursday, April 16: Orders will be accepted, with shipment beginning the week of April 20. Friday, April 17: KELTEC offices will be closed. Website and email orders will still be accepted, but confirmations with sales order number and expected ship date will not be sent until April 20. Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19: Offices remain closed. Website and email orders will be accepted, with confirmations sent beginning April 20. Week of April 20: Offices reopen. All orders will be processed within 24 hours of receipt.

Yes. Orders can still be placed online throughout the transition period. Email orders will also continue to be accepted. Phone availability will depend on the date, since KELTEC offices will be closed on April 17–19.

April 15 is the last day of shipping before the transition. Orders placed during the transition period will begin shipping the week of April 20, and expected ship dates will be confirmed once orders are processed. KELTEC’s standard shipment lead time will temporarily change during this period.

Yes, but timing will vary during the transition. Website orders will continue to generate an order acknowledgment when placed. However, for orders placed during the closure period, the final order confirmation including KELTEC’s sales order number and expected ship date will not be sent until April 20 or when the order is processed.

The current KELTEC website will remain available until the new website launches, and inventory will continue to update twice daily. However, order history will stop updating on or around April 16. Invoice information will no longer be available on the website starting April 16, and online invoice payments and credit card transactions will also no longer be available on the website starting April 16.

For time-sensitive orders involving low-inventory items, customers should contact their Sales Representative or Customer Service at (330) 425-3100.

The new KELTEC website and customer portal are expected to launch between April 27 and May 15. KELTEC will communicate the final launch date once it is confirmed.
